Public space and its discontents

Public space and its discontents is a Flickr photo group.

I thought it was interesting and could help with some of the ideas that we keep coming back to.
Here's what they say about their group:

"This group is interested in how public use, abuse and subvert 'public' spaces. Now that we live sedentary lives, public spaces are often neglected or strictly controlled and regulated. We are interested in how public spaces can be used for 'unexpected' purposes other than their design or how that are 'supposed' to..."

I had a look at the group photos. Some of them are interesting and I really like the mission statement. I visited an exhibition at the Geffrye Museum today about the living rooms in a tower block in Battersea. I'll post something in more detail soon but I really liked the typographic approach to photographing the spaces. Same camera position, same room, repeated about 50 times. It might be a good idea to make a photograph like this of every room in school and display them all together somewhere. What do you think?

I think that's a really good idea. Shame I didn't think of it for 'exploring viewpoints.' Do you know where I could get a map of the school like the ones visitors are given - from that everyone could see which points photos could be taken from. ?
