VoiceThread is a tool I've just discovered. I think it could have some really interesting uses. Check out this demo of some of its features by another teacher and listen to/read/watch the resulting VoiceThread discussion. How do you think this could be used at Tallis?

This looks great. I think the voice thread would be a great way of responding intuitively and spontaneously to a topic, but would also offer the chance to make links across the more conventional divisions of year groups and subjects. I liked the examples of demos on the Voice thread site - they range form teaching demos to family histories and use some great images as well. I might give it a try with my six form groups with some images that relate to the texts we are studying - as a teacher there is nothing nicer than virtual homework!
