I hope that the idea that students might be able to comment intelligently on their experience as learners, and that their commentary will help their learning improve, ought to be something that schools should welcome. What other large institution would put so much emphasis on the opinions of people who visit every few years for a couple of days, but fail to seek the opinions and responses of the people who attend daily for at least five years?
