On Wednesday 26th November from 1-3pm, Tallis students will join 500 young people from across the country in the Turbine Hall of Tate Modern to present and debate their Creative Manifesto
to a government minister. Over the last two years pupils from 20 Creative Partnerships schools have been discussing what they need to have creative and successful futures. 2500 young people have been polled to support these findings.
Creative Ambassadors from 10 schools have written a ten point manifesto as a mandate for action from the government.
Do we know what the 11th point of the manifesto is yet?
Students at the event ended up selecting two more manifesto points from the four available. One was for learning that took place outside of school to be recognised by schools and examining bodies, and the other was give us a choice between exams and coursework.
Hopefully we will get a full list to put on the blog shortly.
